Thank you everyone for supporting the Friends of the North Brunswick Library.  Mark you calendars for the first week in May 2020 for our 16th annual used book sale.

The Friends of the North Brunswick Library are a nonprofit group whose members support the library by:

  • Promoting public awareness and support of the library

  • Advocating for library funding and pro-library legislation

  • Donating materials and equipment

  • Providing funding for the Rental DVD collection; for the Hot Titles book collection; for the Museum Pass Program; for eBook and eReader lending

  • Sponsoring special programs

  • Encouraging gifts and bequests from the community

The Friends Board meeting are in the Library’s conference room at 7:00 PM. All Friends members are invited to attend. Dates for 2019 are:

Friends of the Library Shoe Drive



How you con help:

l. Collect used shoes from home, friends, family

2. Spread the word

3. Follow the steps:

  • Keep pairs together by tying the laces, pair them with a rubber bond, or connect them together.

  • Bring shoes to the library and drop them in the Shoe Donation bin.


  • We take old gently used shoes for:

  • Men’s/Women’s/Kids:

    • Soccer cleats

    • Dress shoes

    • Sneakers .

    • Loafers

    • Flats

    • Casual Shoes

    • Work Boots

    • Sandals

    • Heels

  • No holes on the bottom

  • They can be dirty

  • Sorry we can’t accept the following:

    • Roller Skates

    • Roller Blades

    • Ice Skates

    • Ski Boots
