Disability Law: Successful Transition to Adulthood

On Monday, July 11 at 6:30PM, families of children with disabilities are encouraged to join attorney Tina L. James for an informative overview about options for guardianship at age 18. Tina will provide a more in-depth understanding of when guardianship is needed, the difference between plenary guardianship and limited guardianship, and covering the court process of guardianship.

Tina will also discuss important topics such as:
• Applying for supplemental security income and Medicaid
• Educational entitlement in the school system
• Services through the New Jersey of Division of Developmental Disabilities.
