Virtual Visit with S. Kirk Walsh, author of The Elephant of Belfast on Thursday, August 5 at 7PM
Join S. Kirk Walsh for a reading from and conversation about her first novel The Elephant of Belfast. Inspired by true events, this is a vivid and moving story of a young woman zookeeper and the elephant she’s compelled to protect through the German blitz of Belfast during World War II. The Elephant of Belfast is a complicated and beguiling portrait of hope and resilience–and how love can sustain us during the darkest moments of our lives.
