The public hearing on the proposed master plan revisions for the township has been postponed for two weeks because someone forgot to notify the neighboring municipalities.
The Planning Board has originally scheduled the hearing for the master plan revision and new land use map for tonight. New date for the hear-ing is Nov. 23 at 8 p.m.
The township’s planning consultants, Keyhayas Associates, have revised the 12-year-old master plan so much that it is essentially a new plan, according to Gus Kuhlman, board chairman.
On Nov. 23, the board will also introduce the new zoning ordinance and map to effect the changes in the master plan revision.
Before the Township Committee takes final action on either the master plan or new zoning ordinance, it plans to hold about three regional meetings around the township to give residents a chance to express views.
